Watch our two camera system inspect a GPS module for serial number verification, barcode verification, and missing components. With traditional vision systems, each of these components would be a separate inspection, but with Elementary these tools are run simultaneously where the serial number, barcode and the component that is being inspected are in the same image.
After the inspection is complete, the robot arm picks the module and places it in the PASS (green) or FAIL (red) fixture, based on our inspection result. In this case, a non-matching serial number or missing component will result in a FAIL.
